【早池峰山（岩手県）*】 Aug 6th 2016, Mt.Hayachine, 1,917m

山の特徴として、白山に継ぐお花が多い山だと感じた。日陰がないので、逃げる場もなく、真夏の登山では厳しさを感じる。

地形としては、南側の谷から冷たい空気が入りやすい地形で、上り途中はガスに囲まれることが頻繁にあるだろう。しかし、頂上付近の稜線まで出れば、晴れていることが多いであろう。
登山コースに、ハシゴで登る場面があるが、大した距離でもなく、危険を感じるほどのものでもなかった。但し、雪山であれば、ロープ／ビレー器具があった方が良い。

注意すべき点として、本山は携帯トイレを推奨しているようで、小田越登山口からの先は携帯トイレがないとトイレに行けない仕組みになっていた。また、河原の坊コースは、通行止めとなっている可能性があるので、以下リンクの「Route Information」から最新情報を確認しておくことをオススメする。

This mountain has lots of flowers, but there are no trees, therefore there is no shade to get away from the sun. Because of that I felt hot all the way up.
Due to the terrain configuration, the cold winds always blow down the the valley and when the cool air goes up the mountain it forms clouds. This is why the weather in the mountain is often bad.

Once you reach the ridge the weather conditions improve. At some points you have to use the ladder to climb, because the cliff is steep. But the ladder is not so tall, so it is safe to use. However, if you go there in winter you should be cautious because the mountain is covered with a lot of snow every winter.

※ 盛岡駅と小田超を往復する直通バスは、1日1便しかなく、行きと帰りの時間に大分時間間隔がある。
　 これまで経験したことないほど頂上でゆっくりし、自分にできる限りゆっくり下山したが、下山後約3時間バスを待たなければならなかった。
　 登りがちょっと早かったかな？代替手段もないので、バスで変えるには待つしかない！
