真夏というのに、朝7時頃の山は気温が20度を少し上回る穏やかで涼しいものだった。しかし、12時が過ぎるとさすがこの山も暑い。
登山口までのバス（乗り合いタクシー）は、それほど混んでおらず、快適だった。しかし、頂上があまりにも混んでいてゆっくりできなかった。
何十人の団体登山客もいて、正直、迷惑だった。チームに分けて行動してほしいんだが…ガイドの人手不足なんだろう。（そもそも、ガイドが必要なコースなのか？という疑問はある。）
尾瀬で登山を考えているのなら、混み合う至仏山より、（登りがもう少しきついが）燧ヶ岳の方をオススメする。そんな中で唯一、谷川岳の山脈を眺めたのは非常に良かった。
Although it was the middle of summer the temperature was a bit above 20 degrees. It was very cool, but in the afternoon it became very hot.
I expected it to be crowded, but it was easy to get a share-ride taxi. Once I reached the summit I was a bit surprised with how many people were there.
(You can't go there by your car in particular season.)
There were several groups of dozens of people gathered around the narrow path, so it was difficult to access the summit. If they formed smaller groups, it would be easier for others to walk the path. I suppose the reason was shortage of guides. On the other hand I think that guides are not needed in this mountain.
If you plan to climb this mountain, my suggestion is to climb the Mount Hiuchigatake because it it is less crowded in summer time.

■ もし、湿原を経由するしたいなら、登りでしか通れないので、要注意！
【Traffic】
大宮 ⇒ （関越道沼田IC） ⇒ 戸倉第一駐車場 ⇒（乗合タクシー）⇒ 鳩待峠
■ 乗合タクシーは自分で一緒に乗車する人を募る必要もなく、（仮に乗合ができなかったとしても）バスと同じ料金で、人が集まるとすぐに出発する仕組みとなっているので、バスの時間に合わせていく必要は全くなかった。（但し、平日の事情はよく分かっていない。）
片道一人約1000円するのと、駐車場代が1000円かかるので、決して安いとはいえない。鳩待峠に何十台かとめる場所があるので、前夜車中泊のつもりで行けばとめられるけど、駐車場代が2500円もするので、乗合タクシーに乗った方が気が楽。ちょっと高いけど、環境保全の目的にやっているので、まぁ～仕方ないか！
